Soothika Paricharya refers to Ayurvedic postnatal care specifically designed for the postpartum phase, known as "Sutika Kala." This critical period, lasting from childbirth to the restoration of pre-pregnancy health, addresses the physiological and emotional changes in a new mother. Ayurveda describes this care through Ahara (diet), Vihara (regimen), and Aushadha (medicines), aiming for holistic rejuvenation and balance.

THE TREATMENT INVOLVES:

  1. Ahara (Diet): Personalized diet addressing individual conditions along with nutritious meals such as Yavagu (medicated gruel), Jangal Mamsa Rasa (light meat soup), and herbs like Vidaryadi Gana to replenish Dhatus (body tissues) and promote lactation.

  2. Vihara (Regimen): Practices include Kesha, Mukha & Sharira lepam , Customized kizhi, dhara, talam , keshadhoopanam, anjanam and many more customised Ayurvedic wellness treatments, Abhyanga (therapeutic oil massage), Udaravesthana (abdominal binding), and warm baths with herbal infusions.

  3. Aushadha (Medicines): Herbal formulations such as Dashamoola Kashaya to manage Vata dosha, enhance digestion, and promote uterine cleansing.
